Beware of Heat Stress

It is increasingly common to hear on the news that people living in countries die in summer seasonsheat stroke“. In other countries, although there are no seasons, no thermal levels and extreme temperatures. In this regard it is important to know what heat stress and know that its effects range from rapid heart rate, sweating, irritability, injury to mental health to death.

The moderate heat stress even if not directly dangerous to health, can cause discomfort and adversely affect the operation and safety. As there are limits of human tolerance for heat stress, the risks of heat related disorders increase if no attention is paid to the symptoms of heat stress and fatigue.

The most alarming sign is that the body of the victim stops sweating and keeps skin dry and warm. In that case, it is necessary first aid and go forthwith to the nearest health center.
