Services responsible for prevention and protection at work

Each employer must have an internal service for prevention and protection at work. Within this service a prevention must always be present. When these internal service can not itself perform all tasks entrusted to him, the employer may rely on additional external services for prevention and protection at work.

These services will have as their purpose the employer and its employees to assist the regulation concerning welfare at work to apply.

Prevention

The prevention is the employer for the purposes of the welfare measures. He also has an advisory function towards the employer and employees.

Prevention consultants perform their duties in complete independence from the employer and employees.

The welfare law provides that the employer safety and health of its employees ensures. This requires employers a number of general principles in terms of risk prevention or respect. The four key principles are:

* Avoid risks
* Risks that can not be prevented, evaluate
* Risks at source control
* Work to adapt human
