Safety Handling ProblemsMacro Problems

At the national level (macro) found many factors that are constraints that cause less successful occupational safety programs include:

Still felt a shortfall in development issues (formal & non formal education), counseling (information services, standards, code of Practice), supervision (regulation, monitoring and sanctions for violations), as well as areas of hazard control.

Technology
Technological developments should be anticipated that the resulting hazards can be minimized or eliminated altogether with the use of skills in

Social Culture
Social-cultural disparity in the form of discipline and low public awareness of workplace safety issues, insurance policies are not oriented to control hazards, the behavior of people who do not fully understand the dangers that are in industries with advanced technology and a culture of “casual” and ” do not care “from the community.
Above factors will also determine the type and quality of handling the company’s safety efforts.

Micro problems

Problems that are happening in micro-enterprise, among others consists of:

Awareness, support and involvement.
Awareness, support and operations management involvement on perceived dangers of-control efforts still lacking. This situation will be entrenched from the bottom layer so that many employees have the low safety awareness, besides that their knowledge of engineering and industrial safety management is also very limited.

The limited ability of work safety officer.
The ability of work safety officers in the field of engineering, operations, engineering, safety, hazard control management felt much less so is a constraint on performance earned a good working safety.
A consequence of this lack of presence of the gap between the more advanced applied technology to the negative impact that the higher the ability of work safety officials in anticipation of a more dangerous situation.

Standard, Code of Practice
Still a lack of standards and code of practice on workplace safety and dissemination of information in the field of hazard control is still limited industry will add to increase the risks faced.
