occupational safety and healthThere is no doubt that the employer or employer is responsible; to create the company, becomes the main generator of all the risks associated with a task. If we add a hapless management, most urgently appear accidents and occupational diseases.

In Puerto Rico Section 6 A of the Law on Safety and Health at Work states: Every employer shall furnish to each employee employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that are causing or likely to cause death or injury physically to their employees ”

As such, employers must conduct an evaluation of each task and identify the hazards that are present. They then must seek an alternative to eliminate these hazards, starting with engineering controls, administrative controls and failing to provide personal protective equipment.

Respirator Care and Cleaning

Wash the respirator in warm water with soap for ventilation and a soft sponge, then rinse with clean water.

Let it dry and then stored in a plastic bag to keep it clean.

Protect the respirator, do not put anything on top when you store it prevents cracking or deformed.

Always inspect the respirator before use to ensure is in good condition
